My Past History

Am a third generation Methodist Minister. My gradfather came over from England and married an Iowa young woman. My father was a Methodist Minister/college professor and his entire career, over 30 years in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Went to Baker University and became a third generation student there earning a B.A. in Psychology and passing comprehensives with honors. Baker is in Baldwin, Kansas. When our major professor in Psychology was in an auto accident and in the hospital two of us taught his classes for two weeks or more. It was an exciting time!

Went through Garrett Theological in Evanston, Illinois on the campus of Northwestern University (United Methodist Church seminary)and graduated with a M.A. I can tell you that it is cold in Evanston in the winter!

Was in the Methodist Ministry for 10 years and then went into sales for about six until became an Industrial Relations Manager and the Human Resource Manager for over 21 years. During the later years was also a college instructor in Human Resource Management, Business Management, Human Relations in Organizations etc.

My first wife, Helen, died and remarried to Betty Ewbank for over six years now and enjoying life with her.

Am busily writing my second book which is to take two doctrines of the United Methodist Church that we have mostly forgotten - Prevenient Grace and how it fits with Predestination and the concept of Christian Perfection.

Hope you enjoy this and buy my book!
